The dream started just over twenty years ago when Jim Damalas made his first trip to Costa Rica, camping in what was later to become Manuel Antonio National Park. The splendor and cathedral-like sanctity of the surrounding rain forest made quite an impression on him.
Two decades later, what began as a vision inspired by the natural beauty of Manuel Antonio, became the Hotel and Villas Si Como No, a first class experience situated less than a half a mile from where he first pitched his tent. Today, Jim Damalas has built his dream, proving that sustainable development could be achieved using local resources responsibly and protecting the environment that first inspired him.
Energy-efficient air conditioners, solar panels, farm-grown wood and non-toxic resins are just a part of the thinking that has gone into the construction of this environmentally friendly resort. A water management system, custom designed for the hotel, will allow recycled water to be used for landscaping and will convert sewage into fertilizer.
Each villa consists of two deluxe hotel suites, king-size beds, an unobstructed ocean view from every balcony, well appointed bathrooms, kitchen or wet bar and energy efficient air conditioning systems.
Each split-level suite contains a king-size bed, plus a living room or additional king, a full bath, kitchen or wet bar, and energy efficient air conditioning system... all while affording an unobstructed view of the ocean and surrounding jungle vistas.
